40 years using Bioethics side by side with people

This year Borja Institute of Bioethics -URL celebrates its 40th anniversary. It is already the fulfilment of 40 years walking along with people in general, professionals, institutions, and society, for an establishment first in teaching, investigation and diffusion of Bioethics in Europe.

After 40 year of existence, Borja Institute of Bioethics continues being faithful to the idea of his founder, which means faithfulness to academic and scientific rigor, to the spirit of dialogue and compromise with society in accordance with our present time, with a scope of positivisms towards the future. The search for university formation, the results of investigation towards society, innovation and assessment, together with the cooperation among the centers and the institutes dealing in the field of Bioethics around the world, will define our way to the next years to come.

That is why we celebrate with all of you, who have, one way or another, made reality these 40 years. Congratulations for all!

Margarita Bofarull Buñuel
